A series of photos during the occupation of Crimea, Sevastopol. In the project “Local Slaughter Meat”, Marina subtly noticed and recorded the reactions of the inhabitants of Sevastopol to the annexation of Crimea. There was also a place for sarcasm in her experiences: the series consists of documentary shots that demonstrate the willingness of the inhabitants of Crimea to accept the way of the so-called "Russian world".Marina Frolova was born in Kherson in Ukraine. She lived in Sevastopol, Crimea from 2000 until the peninsula’s annexation in 2014. She now lives in Kyiv.
