Mykhailo Kryven is a Ukrainian photographer who went to war in 2015 as a volunteer for the 4th Battalion of the National Guard of Ukraine. Mikhail took his thirty-five-millimeter film camera with him. Here are the photos that Michael took while on the front line. All the soldiers saw around them for months was a swamp and a territory the size of a football field. Some of the fighters later died at the front. We thank Mikhail for defending us along with other fighters.
